Salt Bae has left fans stunned after they heard his voice "for the first time" following his recent New Year's message.
Taking to Instagram, the superstar chef known as Salt Bae - real name Nusret Gökçe - shared a heartfelt message with his 49.9 million followers emphasizing that 2023 is going to be a year filled with motivation.
"Hi, everyone! I am so proud of myself because we did it. 2022: our best, best year," he said.
He continued: "I hope again, more and more. 2023: our best year."
"I wish all the best. Happy New Year. I love you all. I am extremely happy because of you.
"Welcome 2023. We are ready, waiting for you," he concluded.
Alongside the video, he wrote: "Thanks to you we are who we are!! Motivation organization operation 2023.”
Fans took to the comments to express their confusion at the sound of the restauranteur's voice, after claiming they'd never seen him actually speak before.
"Holy s**t he can talk," this user commented
"WHO See him First Time Talking?" Added another.
A third commented: "This is the first time I’ve heard his voice... Wow.", as another added: "First time he’s talking!!"
Salt Bae originally rose to fame on January 7, 2017, the day he posted a 36-second video to Instagram titled "Ottoman Steak", and since then, he's gained millions of followers on the social media platform.
The clip immediately went viral for the unique way the Turkish chef sprinkled his salt - by letting it fall down his forearm before landing on the meat - and five years later and he's managed to expand his business as well as his personal brand, entertaining the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and David Beckham with his schtick.
"I was always wishing and wishing to open up a restaurant," Gökçe told NBC News and in 2010, he did just that, growing from having one restaurant in Turkey to 22 globally as of today.
His eateries have also been known to come with some pretty hefty bills - which can run into several thousands of dollars - and his extortionate gold-covered steaks.
Despite his success, the 39-year-old has somewhat remained humble, recently saying: "My life hasn’t changed now. I still keep going to work from the morning until midnight."
Let's hope he's just as successful in 2023 as he was in previous years.
