The intense storyline demanded deeply intimate scenes, which Kidman admitted were sometimes emotionally and physically exhausting.
In an interview with The Sun, Kidman reflected on the challenges of these moments. "There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It's like, 'Don't touch me,'" she revealed.
The actress also confessed to the emotional toll these scenes took on her. "There were times when we were shooting where I was like, 'I don't want to org*sm anymore.'"
