Beyoncé may be one of the biggest chart-topping superstars on the planet, but - most importantly - she is also a very proud mother.

The global superstar lit up the red carpet last night at the world premiere of Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King, but it was her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who truly stole the show.

In the live-action prequel, Blue lends her voice to Kiara, the daughter of Beyoncé’s iconic character, Nala, and Donald Glover's Simba.

Following the event, Beyoncé took to Instagram to post a rare and touching tribute to her eldest daughter. Alongside photos of Blue Ivy dazzling on the red carpet in a gilded gold ball gown, Beyoncé showered her with praise.

"My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night," the 'Single Ladies' singer wrote. "You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.”

Blue’s beautiful gown, featuring a strapless draped bodice and a voluminous skirt, made her look every bit the star she’s becoming.

Mom Beyoncé matched her daughter’s golden glow with a custom Balmain number: a black strapless column dress adorned with metallic gold polka dots crafted from brass leaves. The look was completed with a plunging sculptural neckline and a thigh-high slit that had fans in awe.

And the Mufasa premiere was truly a family affair. Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, brought his signature suave style in a dark brown suit, while her mother, Tina Knowles, looked effortlessly elegant in an all-black ensemble, complete with an off-the-shoulder top, tailored pants, and a dramatic oversize belt.

Of course, Jay-Z's appearance also comes just days after he released a statement in response to a lawsuit accusing him of raping a 13-year-old girl alongside rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs.

In his statement, he referred to the toll the allegations were going to have on his family, saying: "My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people."

Blue Ivy’s red-carpet moment marks yet another milestone for the young talent, who’s already a Grammy winner and now adding voice acting to her impressive résumé. With Beyoncé’s loving support and a growing list of achievements, it’s clear the sky’s the limit for Blue.

From music royalty to Hollywood’s newest rising star, Blue Ivy is definitely following in her mom’s footsteps — and we’re here for it.
