While Game of Thrones is now (finally) over, you can relive the world of Westeros once more thanks to Dalmatian Travel & Events who are catering to those who just can't get enough of the fantasy series.
The travel company is launching a unique cruise experience which will set sail from Europe in 2021. The "Cruise of Thrones" excursions start in September 2021, and will bring fans to some of the most remarkable Game of Thrones filming locations.
Maisie Williams and the rest of the Game of Thrones cast react to Arya Killing the Night King...Lucky guests can choose from three different itineraries; two eight-day excursions which either sail towards the north or south of Europe, or die-hard fans can opt for a 16-day journey which takes you on both cruises back to back.
If you embark on the northern call, the ports of call include filming locations in Iceland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. When in Iceland, cruise-goers will visit familiar scenes such as the Fist of the First Men, the Bloody Gate, and Jon & Ygritte's cave. And in Ireland, they will be able to get a glimpse of The Wall, Castle Black, Hardhome, Winterfell, Pyke, the King's Road amongst other locales.
On the southern cruise, however, visitors will enjoy the sunny climates of Spain, Malta, and Croatia, or as Game of Thrones fans might know them: Dorne, Essos and King's Landing. When in Spain, travellers will see the Sunspear and the Water Gardens, the Tower of Joy, the Citadel and the Long Bridge of Volantis. And finally, in Dubrovnik, guests will be able to traverse the main filming location for Kings Landing.
Of course, the 16-day cruise includes all of the locations of the 8-day cruises.
And as well as visiting Game of Thrones filming locations, passengers will spend the journey on a luxury ship, which has been decorated to the nines in the medieval fantasy style of everyone's favourite television show.
Packages for the cruises begin at $5,130 per head, and a deposit of $1,000 is required per person at the time of booking.
Speaking about the experience, Lynette Durovic, owner of Dalmatian Travel & Events, asserted "We imagined and developed an experience like nothing you've ever seen before."
Well, I for one can't wait!
