Dolly Parton saved the life of a nine-year-old girl on the set of her new Netflix movie Christmas on the Square.
The film dropped on Netflix last month, and it centers on Regina Fuller, a wealthy, Scrooge-like woman who intends to sell her hometown to a mall developer and has to evict all of its residents in the process.
Parton portrays a woman named Angel in the film and wrote all of the movie's songs, but her role didn't end there, and it turns out that she also saved the life of a cast member.
If you haven't seen it yet, this is the trailer for Christmas on the Square:

Nine-year-old actor and dancer Talia Hill features in the film with her brothers, 16-year-old Tristan and 13-year-old Tyson, and in a recent interview with Inside Edition, Talia opened up about hanging out with Parson by the hot chocolate station.
The nine-year-old explained that when the producers asked the cast and crew to return to their positions for shooting, she felt a hand on her back and she turned around and realized that Parton was saving her from accidentally walking into the path of a moving vehicle.
Talia said that the incident left her in shock and that she called Parton her angel, to which the singer replied that she really is one - and plays an angel in the movie!
The pair then embraced as Parton proclaimed that she had saved Talia's life.
As a result of the incident, Talia was able to continue with her role in the movie alongside her brothers and Parton herself without any problems.
The nine-year-old said that on set Parton treated everyone with respect and that it didn't matter whether they were collecting garbage or one of the film's stars.
Talia added that Parton always smelled heavenly onset.
Tonia Hill, the children's mother, said that she wasn't surprised that her three children were cast in the movie.
She herself is an entertainer at Walt Disney World and said that they were introduced to the industry when they were still in her belly and she was dancing.
