A clip from the new Game of Thrones documentary, The Last Watch is going viral due to Varys actor Conleth Hill's evidently displeased reaction to his character's death.

The 54-year-old actor had played the character since the show's inception back in 2011, and his response to learning about his character's fate in the penultimate episode appears resentful.

Take a look at the seriously viral clip here:

The HBO documentary, which aired on Sunday, centred around footage from the making of the series finale including the cast's final table read.

The two-hour documentary shows the actors gathering together to read the scripts for all six episodes of the last-ever season. However, the script for the penultimate episode was clearly a bitter pill to swallow for Hill AKA  Lord Varys, the 'Master of Whisperers'.

"I told you what would happen if you betray me," Emilia Clarke reads from her script, to which Hill replies: "You did."

Clarke, reading the lines of Daenerys Targaryen, then sentences Varys to death prompting Hill to fold his script in half and place it on the table - as if to signify he had no reason to read any further. Clearly disgruntled, the actor then leans back and crosses his arms.

This is the moment Varys dies in season eight, episode five:

Cersei Lannister actress Lena Headey briefly holds her castmate's hand in a bid to comfort him. Meanwhile, Clarke gives Hill a look of sympathy as the narrator reads out a description of Varys' death at the hands of Drogon.

Fans of the hit fantasy drama immediately latched on to Hill's unmistakable disappointment and took to Twitter to draw attention to it.
