An actress who appeared in the Harry Potter films has revealed the "life-changing" amount of money she's made through OnlyFans.
Jessie Cave rose to fame playing Hogwarts schoolgirl Lavender Brown in the final three films in the series.
But now, years removed from the ending of the franchise, Cave has continued to act and moved into stand-up, but has also dipped her toes into the world of OnlyFans.
Now, she's revealed just how much money she's made on the paid-subscription service.
In a recent interview with The Times, the actress and writer spoke candidly about just how financially lucrative her time on OnlyFans has been.
"I earned more [money], easily, than my entire acting career within one year," she said.
Cave joined OnlyFans last year and charges fans $6 a month to access her content. She revealed that within just one month, she made $20,000.
Most of her money, Cave said, comes from fans paying to message her on the app.
She says that earning the money from OnlyFans has "saved" her financially.
"It's now been over a year and a half and it's genuinely saved our lives," she said. "I thought I’d make five grand, be on it for a few months and it would buy me time to work out what we’re going to do."
Prior to joining the site, the actress had been at a point of "complete desperation" as audition opportunities began to dry up.
She said she chose to join OnlyFans since "normal jobs" don't make sense for her.
"I couldn't go and, say, work in a supermarket," she went on. "I can't afford the childcare and, also, I don't want people shouting Harry Potter at me [all day].
"I could retrain, but I [couldn't] afford to do a degree."
Cave noted, too, that while she does dress up as her Harry Potter character per request, all the videos she makes are with her fully-clothed.
Jessie Cave first came to fame when she won the part of Lavender Brown in the final three Harry Potter films; Half-Blood Prince and the two parts of the Deathly Hallows.
The character is best known for becoming the first on-screen girlfriend for Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) before he realises his true feelings for Hermione Granger (Emma Watson).
As per JK Rowling's original novels, Cave's character is killed during the final battle at Hogwarts.
Following her career-making stint on Harry Potter, Cave focused on acting on mostly British TV dramas and comedies, such as Call The Midwife and Trollied. She had a bit part on in the first season of buzzy finance drama Industry in 2020.
Her first novel, Sunset, was published in 2021.
Cave is in a long-term relationship with comedian Alfie Brown, with whom she shares four children. The couple originally broke up after the birth of their second child but later reconciled.

Jessie Cave, best known for her role as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter franchise, has shared an update after announcing she joined OnlyFans to post "sensual" hair videos.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday (August 14), she shared the following stories in regards to her OnlyFans:
Cave previously explained that her videos will feature "the best quality hair sounds" and cater to viewers with hair fetishes, but she made it clear that her content would not include any sexual material.
Cave clarified on her Before We Break Up Again podcast, “I am launching an OnlyFans, it’s not a sexual one. It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual.”
She also discussed her motivation for joining the platform during an appearance on her “Before We Break Up Again” podcast, where she emphasized her intention to use it as a means of self-empowerment and to help get out of debt.
She shared, “My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”
Cave also reflected on her years of experience at Harry Potter conventions, joking that they may have served as “research” for this new venture. She admitted, “It feels like I’m doing something naughty, something a little f–ked up. I like that. Ripping up the good little actress rule book.”
Cave, who debuted as Lavender Brown in 2009’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and reprised the role in Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2, has appeared in other projects such as Great Expectations, Black Mirror, and Industry. She also voiced Lavender Brown in two Harry Potter video games.
The decision to join OnlyFans comes as Cave, like many others in the entertainment industry, turns to the platform as a way to supplement her income and engage with her audience in new ways. The platform has become a popular choice for various celebrities, including singer Lily Allen and The Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo, who have used it to connect with their followers and overcome financial challenges.
For Cave, this move to OnlyFans marks a shift from traditional acting roles into an unconventional avenue that allows her to embrace personal empowerment and financial independence. Her candid and unapologetic approach to joining the platform highlights her desire to take control of her career and life, leaving behind the expectations others may have had for her.
Last week, former Disney star Bella Thorne took to Instagram to announce that she was joining the content subscription site OnlyFans.

OnlyFans has become synonymous with many of its creators sharing X-rated content with their fans, with some creators earning huge sums of money from the platform.
As reported by Page Six, a subscription to Thorne's page is set at $20 a month.
And it would seem as if Thorne's decision to join OnlyFans has been incredibly popular with her followers because not only did she reportedly crash the site shortly after launching her page, but she has also made an eye-watering $1 million in just 24 hours.

In fact, Page Six states that 22-year-old Thorne is the very first content creator in the platform's history to earn that figure in a day - with Complex reporting that Thorne has now made over $2 million since signing up.
Thorne has also confirmed that she would not be posting nude content on the site.

Bella Thorne was cast in Disney's Shake It Up when she was 13-years-old alongside Zendaya and subsequently appeared in a slew of kids movies, including Alvin and the Chipmunks and Mostly Ghostly.
However, over the last year, Thorne has stepped out of her Disney shadow, releasing a book of visual poetry, launching a line of cannabis products, and directing an explicit art film for Pornhub. She was even on the wrong end of criticism from Whoopi Goldberg for taking nude selfies.

Bella Thorne is a wonderful example that women can do whatever they want (as long as it is legal), and should not face criticism for it.
And with other celebrities like Jason Derulo and Cardi B also joining OnlyFans (not necessarily for NSFW content), it is certainly helping to remove the stigma of those that do choose to use the platform as a means of income and improve the conversation around sex work.
OnlyFans star Lily Phillips has revealed how much money she makes after sleeping with 100 men in a day for a challenge on the X-rated platform.
Phillips, a British OnlyFans creator, has gained fame online after sleeping with 101 men in one day - and now she's ready to take things to the next level.
Speaking on The Reality Check podcast, the 23-year-old got candid about attempting to break a new world record for sleeping with the most men in 24 hours, with the previous being held by Lisa Sparks, who allegedly slept with 919 men in 2004.
"I want to get to 1,000 because 900 is weak. You may as well have got to 1,000," said Phillips on the episode.
She went on to state that she's currently training for the big day.
"This is why I'm training. I've done the 100, I'm doing 300 in a few weeks. As long as they're in-out, in-out, it’s gonna be pretty quick," she explained. "I think I'll get sore towards the end but I’ve got the right determination to be able to push on."
Speaking to E! News recently, Phillips shared how much money she makes after infamously bedding 100 men in a day for her OnlyFans page.
"Oh, we're in the millions," Phillips stated, before going on to comment on what she said is a common misconception about her work.
She denied claims that she only does OnlyFans "for the money".
"For me, there's no amount of money that would make me stop," Phillips said. "There's no goal. It's not like, 'Oh, if I hit this figure, I'll stop doing this.'"
Speaking about the logistics of the 1,000 in a day challenge, Phillips said: "My plan kind of is... it needs to be a room with two doors. The logistics are insane. It's hard enough to get 1,000 guys together wanting to f*** me, it's another thing making sure they all do it in the time limit.
"I'm just hoping for a conveyer belt of c***," she noted, crudely. "They need to walk in the room, one pump in, one pump out and leave. That's kind of how we’re gonna do it. A conveyer belt."
An OnlyFans creator who made a massive quarter of a million dollars in just three weeks after sleeping with over 100 people has revealed how her family supports her career.
Many adult performers try to keep the (literal) ins and outs of their day job a secret from their parents, or just keep the details of their work to the bare minimum with their family.
However, for some, their parents are fully involved in supporting their unconventional careers - such as Bonnie Blue's mom and dad.
The OnlyFans model opened up about how her parents get involved in helping her become even more successful as an adult entertainer.
Bonnie has been aiming to raise her profile with a series of stunts, including sleeping with hundreds of men, in the hopes of winning awards.
Although she's only been in the industry a relatively short amount of time, the 25-year-old made headlines for sleeping with over 100 students in the Gold Coast's Schoolies week, as well as doing the same in the US for Spring Break.
The British-born entertainer who now lives in Australia has been put forward for five awards in the Australian Adult Industry Awards (AAIA), including best adult star of the year, best newcomer, and best content creator.
And making sure that she walks away with a gong or five on the night has become something of a family affair as she revealed her parents have been drumming up votes for her.
She told the Daily Star: "I've sent it to my dad, I've sent it to my mum saying 'vote for me'.
"My dad said 'I never thought I'd be voting for you to do best blowj**'."
Prior to her adult career, Bonnie had worked in recruitment, but found her new career afforded more opportunities to make serious money.
She discovered that by ensuring she stood out from the competition, she could make a lot more cash, explaining to the outlet: "I'm out there, I'm doing it to be known. I'm not tiptoeing around.
"And so many people when they start OnlyFans ask for advice and say, ’how do I do it?’ I'm like 'don't copy anyone. You can't just follow everyone'.
"And it goes to everything in life. You can't just copy and do average things and expect amazing things to happen from it. It doesn’t happen."
Bonnie's clearly no stranger to working hard to make her dreams come true - and the sums she says she's raking in are proof it's working for her.
