'Haunting of Bly Manor' fans stunned after realizing Uncle Henry is the kid from 'E.T.'

Fans of the Netflix horror series The Haunting of Bly Manor have been left in stunned amazement after learning that the man who plays Uncle Henry Wingrave, Henry Thomas, is in fact the same actor who played Elliot in the 1982 Spielberg classic E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial.

Yes, the follow up to the monumentally popular - and utterly terrifying - Haunting of Hill House has given fans more than one surprise, and amazed viewers have been taking to Twitter to discuss the revelation regarding actor Henry Thomas.

In fact, the part of Flora is played by Amelie Bea Smith, who is, remarkably, the voice of wildly popular children's cartoon character Peppa Pig.

According to IMDB, Amelie made her acting debut as the character of Daisy in the long-running British soap opera Eastenders and took over the role of the animated porcine character in February 2020, following Peppa Pig's previous voice actress, Harley Bird, retiring from the role after 13 years.

Alongside Amelie Bea Smith and Henry Thomas, Netflix's The Haunting of Bly Manor also stars Kate Siegel, Catherine Parker, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Victoria Pedretti, along with newcomers T’Nia Miller, Amelia Eve, Benjamin Ainsworth, and Rahul Kohli.
