Jason Momoa has issued a strong statement amid investigations into the behavior of Justice League director, Joss Whedon.
This comes after his Justice League co-star, Ray Fisher, accused the director of "abusive" on-set conduct during filming for the 2017 movie, and claimed that Warner Bros and DC executives enabled his behavior.
At the time of writing, he has not elaborated on his allegations.
Throwing his support behind Fisher, Momoa penned an all-caps and expletive-laden message on Instagram today (September 15).
Captioning the photo of himself and Fisher, he claimed that "serious stuff went down" when the Justice League reshoots under the direction of Joss Whedon took place, following Zack Snyder stepping down in May 2017.
"THIS S**T HAS TO STOP AND NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT @ray8fisher AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO EXPERIENCED WHAT HAPPEN UNDER THE WATCH OF @wbpictures NEEDS PROPER INVESTIGATION", he wrote, adding:
"I just think it’s f***ed up that people released a fake Frosty announcement without my permission to try to distract from Ray Fisher speaking up about the sh***y way we were treated on Justice League reshoots. Serious stuff went down. It needs to be investigated and people need to be held accountable."
Snyder stepped down from his role following his daughter's suicide, and Whedon was promptly brought in.
Last month, Fisher - who played Cyborg in the feature - revealed that the circumstances of the movie's production during Whedon's tenure were being formally investigated.
In June, however, Fisher posted a tweet with a video of himself talking about the director in a complementary way. He captioned the post: "I'd like to take a moment to forcefully retract every bit of this statement."
Several days later, he accused Whedon of "gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable" behavior on set during the production.
Fisher also said Whedon was enabled by two former Warner Bros and DC executives, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns.
Berg denied the claims while Whedon and Johns have not yet issued comment.
In mid-August, Fisher tweeted that Warner Media had launched an investigation into the claims. He thanked them for ''making strides to ensure a safer workplace for all.''
This week, Fisher took to social media to embroil another person in the saga, president of DC Films Walter Hamada.
"So you can better understand how deep this goes. After speaking out about Justice League, I received a phone call from the president of DC Films wherein he attempted to throw Joss Whedon and Jon Berg under the bus in hopes that I would relent on Geoff Johns. I will not," he tweeted.
Warner Bros has since responded, per news.com.au, in which they said that Fisher's claim about Hamada was "false". They also alleged that Fisher had refused to co-operate with a third-party investigator hired to look into his claims.
