Comedy actor Jim Carrey hasn't had the easiest time during his press tour for his upcoming movie, Sonic The Hedgehog.

Last week, Carrey caused a stir online when he was blasted for comments he made towards Margot Robbie regarding her looks and talent while appearing on BBC's The Graham Norton Show.

Check out that moment in the video below:

Despite the fact Robbie laughed off the comment, viewers quickly took to Twitter to brand the Dumb & Dumber star a "creep" for daring to make the remark.

Arnie Maloney tweeted: "So there we have it. @JimCarrey is a sexist, objectifying piece of crap, claiming Margot Robbie’s success is down to her physical attractiveness and nothing else. Incorrect. She’s a fecking great actress. What the hell was he thinking?"

And Twitter user @zwaslike said: "That joke Jim Carrey make towards Margot Robbie about her looks and talent was so awkward. Kudos to her for just laughing and taking it on the chin, I’d have slapped him."

However, following his latest appearance on Good Morning America yesterday, it seems fans are happy to see the wacky and unpredictable Carrey that we're used to back on our screens.

The 58-year-old kicked off his interview with host Michael Strahan by pretending to strum his leg like a guitar and singing "Strahan" to the melody of Foghat’s 'Slow Ride'. The Liar Liar star then jumped to the floor pretending to snap a football.

Check out the surreal interview in the video below:

Carrey's antics then caused his microphone to stop working, which caused him to leap on the host and leaned into Strahan's - causing the host to glance at the camera with a confused look plastered on his face.

Taking to Twitter, several Twitter users expressed their delight at the hilarious interview:

Alllllllllrighty then!
