Following the tragic news that Matthew Perry has passed away at the age of 54, many of his fans are looking back at the actor's body of work.

On Saturday, it was reported that the beloved Friends star had passed away after being found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles.

Both TMZ and the Los Angeles Times reported that Perry was found unresponsive in a hot tub after authorities arrived at the actor's home at roughly 4:00PM. Law enforcement sources - who have remained anonymous due to the ongoing investigation - have told the LA Times that no drugs were found at the scene. Additionally, it is believed that no foul play was involved in the star's passing.

No official cause of death has been determined at this time.

And following the heartbreaking news of Perry's passing, many Friends fans have flocked to social media to share their favorite Chandler Bing moments from the show.

However, despite Friends being undoubtedly Matthew Perry's most successful and well-known show, his acting résumé spans far beyond just his 10 seasons on the sitcom.

From movies like The Whole Nine Yards (2000) and 17 Again (2009) to guest appearances on shows like West Wing (2003) and Scrubs (2004), Perry truly was an incredible actor - no matter the role that was asked of him.

But with social media sites like X (formerly known as Twitter) awash with scenes from Friends, many of Perry's fans have spoken out about one of his little-known roles - with some even going as far as to declare it his best.

"RIP Matthew Perry. The entire world slept on his best performance in Studio 60 but I will always remember how much I loved him in this show," one X user wrote, with a second adding: "I still say Studio 60 was Matthew Perry’s best role. He was uncommonly good at making Sorkin dialogue sound natural."

And other agreed, with a third tweeting: "There will be much melancholic nostalgia about Friends today, understandably, but for me Matthew Perry’s greatest performance was his role as Matt Albie in Aaron Sorkin’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. He didn’t get enough recognition for this."

"Just going to take this moment to say that Matthew Perry’s best role was in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," a fourth tweeted.

For those who happened to miss the show when it first aired, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was a television drama created by Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, A Few Good Men).

First airing back in 2006, Perry played Matt Albie a writer who takes over the production of a late-night live sketch show called Studio 60.

The show also starred Bradley Whitford as Matt's longtime friend Danny Tripp and Sarah Paulson as ex-girlfriend Harriet Hayes.

Despite its popularity among fans, the show was canceled by NBC after one season of 22 episodes.

Nevertheless, it remains a treasure for Matthew Perry fans and is definitely a show you should check out if you want to see the late star in one of his best-ever roles.

Once again, thank you for the memories, Matthew.
