The newest trailer for the upcoming season of Black Mirror has been released - with Netflix also confirming when the popular show will return to our screens.

The latest trailer for the postmodern/dystopian series also revealed an all-star cast - including Salma Hayek and Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul.

Per Variety, other stars to be confirmed for the latest season include Zazie Beetz (Joker, Deadpool 2), Auden Thornton (True Story), Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbor, The Black Dahlia), and Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You).

At the end of the trailer, Netflix has also confirmed that the new season will be available to stream in June.

Check out the thrilling teaser trailer below:

The new series comes four years after the last episode - Miley Cyrus' outing in 'Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too' - hit our screens.

Speaking about the upcoming season, show creator Charlie Brooker tells Tudum the new episodes will follow a different model to previous seasons, saying: "I’ve always felt that ‘Black Mirror’ should feature stories that are entirely distinct from one another, and keep surprising people (and myself) or else what’s the point?"

Brooker added: "[Black Mirror] should be a series that can’t be easily defined, and can keep reinventing itself.

"So partly as a challenge, and partly to keep things fresh for both me and the viewer, I began this season by deliberately upending some of my own core assumptions about what to expect.

"Consequently, this time, alongside some of the more familiar ‘Black Mirror’ tropes we’ve also got a few new elements, including some I’ve previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what ‘a Black Mirror episode’ even is."

And speaking about the incredible cast set to appear in the season, Brooker added: "Bringing it all to life we’ve got an incredible roster of disgustingly skillful, smart directors working with a cast of actors so talented they frankly have no right to exist."

And after the news was confirmed, fans of the show have taken to social media to voice their joy at the show's return:
