Netflix has just dropped the trailer for 'You' season three.
The trailer was released today (September 17) ahead of the return of the third season of the hit show on October 15, which follows the murderous exploits of Joe Goldberg, TV Line reports.
While the first two seasons saw Joe's character face various challenges as he tried to find the love of his life, in this season, he encounters a new one entirely: fatherhood.
Watch the much-anticipated trailer below:"In my history of scared, this is the most scared I've ever been," Penn Badgley's character says in the trailer.
While he and his newfound partner-in-crime Love are the "perfect team", Joe has a long history of stalking and doing whatever it takes to get what he wants, which could spell disaster for his new neighbor Natalie (Michaela McManus).
The third season's official synopsis reads: "Joe and Love, now married and raising their baby, have moved to the balmy Northern California enclave of Madre Linda, where they're surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgmental mommy bloggers and Insta-famous biohackers.
"Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad, but fears Love's lethal impulsiveness. And then there's his heart. Could the woman he's been searching for all this time live right next door? Breaking out of a cage in a basement is one thing. But the prison of a picture-perfect marriage to a woman who's wise to your tricks? Well, that'll prove a much more complicated escape."
The release of the new trailer went down a storm on YouTube and fans have already flocked to the comment section to express their excitement.
One wrote: "I feel like casting Penn Badgley was the best thing Netflix has ever done."

A second wrote: "I love the fact that Joe literally hates the female version of him and calls her 'Monster' while he's not any different."

A third added: "Plot twist: The baby grows up to be Dexter."

As well as starring actors from previous seasons, the third season will also feature Tati Gabrielle, Dylan Arnold, Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Scott Speedman, McManus, Shannon Chan-Kent, Ben Menhl, Chris O'Shea, and Christopher Sean.
