A number of viewers of a Netflix true-crime documentary are claiming that they spotted the "creepy" moment murder victim Shanann Watts sent cops "clues from beyond the grave".
The program, American Murder: The Family Next Door, centers around the horrific story of the murder of Shanann and her two daughters by Chris Watts - Shanann's husband and girls' father.
This is the moment Chris Watts realizes he was caught on his neighbor's camera:Chris later confessed to strangling Shanann, who was pregnant at the time, in their home in Colorado. He then placed her body in a shallow grave.
But upon watching the unsettling documentary, some viewers have now taken to Facebook to share their belief that they witnessed the moment Shanann sent police a "clue" from beyond the grave.
In a video from the documentary, Chris has the neighbor share their surveillance footage with him and police officers the morning after his family went missing.
Check out the video below:But when the surveillance footage is turned off, a fetus and then a skull suddenly appear on the screen. Many viewers believe this was a sign from Shannan to the police as a way of alerting them to what had happened to her.
Originally shared by Facebook user Amy Brook in the group TRUE CRIME: Missing, Murdered, and Unsolved, the stunned viewer wrote alongside the clip:
"Chris Watts stood next to the TV in his neighbours home while the police watched the cctv footage...
"As they chatted a foetus, then a skull floating in oil appeared on the screen.
His wife Shannan was 4 months pregnant and he put his two daughters in oil tanks.
"If you believe in the paranormal, was it Shannan sending them clues or coincidence?
Very creepy."
One Facebook user replied: "I remember watching this, ahh his face was like so guilty and he was shocked.
"I mean that was a spiritual sign from [Shanann], the whole scene was so much like what he did to those poor innocent souls... such an evil he is..."
