Voice actor Billy Kametz has tragically passed away at the age of 35.
As reported by The Independent, Kametz passed away on Thursday following his battle with stage four colon cancer.
The heartbreaking news was revealed by the actor's talent agency, Point of Contact.
"With tremendous and heartbroken regret, we must inform you of the passing of @BillyKametz," the agency wrote on Twitter. "Billy loved his fans so much and I know this is a horrible shock. Please take care of yourselves. Breathe. You are part of his legacy and he would want to know you’re going to be okay."
Kametz's talents will perhaps be best remembered by fans in the anime and video game world.
Pokémon fans will know him best as the voice of the iconic Blue in the Pokémon Masters video game, as well as Ren in the Pokémon Journeys: The Series.
Kametz also provided the voice of Ferdinand Von Aegir in Nintendo's Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Heroes.
Anime fans will have certainly appreciated Kametz's talents over the years, with the actor providing the voice of Nicolo in Attack on Titan, as well as lending his voice to shows like Welcome to Demon-School, Iruma-kun, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Beastars.

Kametz also won Best Voice Actor Performance (EN) at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards for his role as Naofumi Iwatani in the 2019's The Rising of the Shield Hero.
Following the news of the actor's passing, fans have taken to social media to share their tributes to the beloved voice of a generation.
"To think such a beautiful voice is gone. It's truly heartbreaking," one fan tweeted. "I didn't know much about him but I could feel his passion through his work. This is painful. So completely agonizing."
A second added: "I don't think a [voice actor] passing has ever messed with me more than Billy Kametz. I'm wishing the best for his family and friends, genuinely. He was an utter legend and one of the greatest VA's of all time."
A third wrote: "Billy Kametz brought to life so many incredible roles to life but him bringing such heart and soul to Maruki is honestly part of why I'm still alive today. I'm never going to forget your performances Billy. Thank you."
