Overnight, it was revealed that actor and musician Sam Lloyd - best known for playing lawyer Ted Buckland in the hit sitcom Scrubs - had died at the age of 56. The news was confirmed by his uncle, representative, and Back To The Future star Christopher Lloyd. Lloyd's passing comes a little over one year after he welcomed his first child, Weston, with his wife Vanessa. He was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and lung cancer in January 2019. Now, Lloyd's Scrubs co-stars have taken to social media to share their memories and tributes of their time with the late actor. Zach Braff - who played the show's lead character JD - lead the tributes for his late co-star, writing on Twitter: "Rest In Peace to one of the funniest actors I’ve ever had the joy of working with. Sam Lloyd made me crack up and break character every single time we did a scene together. He could not have been a kinder man. I will forever cherish the time I had with you, Sammy."
