Actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have recreated a hilarious scene from their cult ''zom-rom-com'', Shaun of the Dead, to cheer up their fans during the Coronavirus outbreak.
The short clip, which is doing the rounds on social media, is a recreation of a scene in which the main characters of Shaun and Ed (played by Pegg and Frost, respectively) formulate a plan to hole up in their local pub (The Winchester) during a zombie apocalypse, where they can "have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over."
Take a look at their hilarious recreation in the video below:However, in the recreation of the scene, Pegg and Frost state the inverse, and want to avoid the pub for the sake of self-isolation, with Simon telling Nick "Do not go to The Winchester, the pub is out."
He continues: "If you can, stay at home, have a cup of tea, and wait for all this to blow over. Above all, don't be a t**t about things. We're all in this together, don't be selfish, look after each other, give someone a call if you think they might be lonely."
Frost then asks Pegg if he has any toilet paper, which he lies about ... just before the camera pans back to reveal that he's actually been hoarding it all along. The closing credits then state: "DON'T PANIC! We can beat the apocalypse... together. Love from Simon and Nick. [sic]"
