It has been nearly six years since Sons of Anarchy rode off into the sunset, but that doesn't mean fans of the show don't want more.

Now, the creator of the cult crime series Sons of Anarchy has taken to social media to reveal that he now wants to make a sequel to the show that focusses on Jax's son, Abel.

Let's relieve the incredible final moments of Sons of Anarchy:

Yes, show creator Kurt Sutter has clearly been much more productive in lockdown that I have, spending more time engaging with his fans and answering their questions on the popular show, which currently boasts an impressive 8.6/10 on IMDb.

However, during one live Q&A session, one fan asked Sutter about the fate of Abel - the son of protagonist Jax Teller. Sutter, 55, then provided fans with the answer I'm sure they were all hoping to hear.

The creator shared his plans to create a show called Sam Crow, which would detail "the fate of Wendi (Drea de Matteo), Nero (Jimmy Smits), Abel (Ryder Londo), and Thomas."

But Sutter doesn't want to stop there, as he also revealed plans for a second show called First Nine, which would follow the original nine members of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original (SAMCRO).

He revealed what it would be a "limited series" comprised of nine episodes - potentially with each episode focusing on one of the nine founding members of SAMCRO. Sutter also added that First Nine would not be a cross over with Son's of Anarchy, confirming that it "would end before we began to tread on the history we created in Sons".

So, how far away are we from any of these shows being created? Well, Sutter revealed that he couldn't share too many details, adding: "I can't discuss my current situation with Fox, so right now I can't really comment on the reality of any of this happening."

After hearing the news, fans immediately responded to Sutter with their thoughts on how the show could play out:

So, how would you like to see Sam Crow play out?
