HBO Max has released the first full-length trailer for the highly-anticipated Friends reunion show.

Friends: The Reunion - also known as 'The One Where They Get Back Together' - will feature Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Greene), Courteney Cox (Monica Bing), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt Le Blanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) reunite over 17 years since the final episode aired.

Watch the incredible trailer for the reunion show below:

The trailer sees the six friends reunite in Monica's apartment, as they recreate Ross' quiz from season four's 'The One with the Embryos'.

The clip shows Schwimmer once again pulling out his "LIGHTNING ROUND", as he quizzes the gang on the length of Rachel's relationship agreement at the start of season four (it's 12 pages, front-and-back by the way).

Other parts of the trailer show James Corden asking the stars if Ross and Rachel were really on a break (they were), and Cara Delevigne recreating Rachel's embarrassing bridesmaid blunder from season two's 'The One With Barry And Mindy's Wedding'.

Another clip from the preview shows Jennifer Aniston revealing that she was told by a producer of another show that Friends "not going to make [her] a star"... I bet that producer feels pretty foolish now.

Yes, as you may have noticed, this special is simply a reunion show and not a brand new episode following on from the show's finale - something which HBO has been eager to clarify. In a statement prior to the show airing, the network said:

"In order to avoid any misunderstanding about what this special is, we want to make it very clear that this is not a new, original episode of the series. The cast will be appearing as themselves, not as their beloved characters."

According to Variety, each of the six main cast will receive at least $2.5 million each for their part in the episode.

The show will also feature appearances from David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon, and Malala Yousafzai.

Friends: The Reunion will air on HBO Max on May 27.
