Although it's been over 30 years since the show first aired, The Golden Girls is still a beloved sitcom, and the reruns are watched avidly to this day.

The series follows the misadventures of four over-fifty women, Blanche Devereaux, Rose Nylund, Dorothy Zbornak, and Sophia Petrillo, who all live together in Miami. Despite its light-hearted tone, the program touched on many important social issues, such as homelessness, AIDS, homosexuality, transvestism, prescription pill addiction, sexual harassment, and interracial love. Suffice to say, it has aged just as well as its cast.

So if you're a major fan of the series then I have some welcome news for you: a Golden-Girls-themed immersive cruise is due to set sail from Miami this year and in 2021, when it will stop in at Key West and Cozumel in Mexico, amongst many other lush locales.

According to a report by Fox News 10, the tickets for this year's cruise are sold out, but Flip Phone Events are making sure that the ship will set sail in style once again in 2021.

The cruise is set to have a number of Golden Girls events, such as a sail away party with cheesecake, a bar crawl, a costume party, a fancy dinner party, a talent show, a bingo night, a karaoke party at Rusty Anchor, a musical celebration with The Golden Gays NYC, a Shady Pines Craft Corner, and much more.

The only drawback is the tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event don't come cheap. Prices start at $1499.99 per person and includes port charges, taxes, gratuities, and two perks: an unlimited beverage package, or free WiFi.

So if you're free between April 5, 2021 and April 10, 2021, then you should get a head and book now: payments for the 2021 cruise are due on June 1, 2020.
