So. That was an interesting episode of Game of Thrones, wasn't it? If you're a fan of plotting and political conniving, this probably wasn't the episode for you.

But for everyone else, let's get into this. As we all know, the White Walkers closed in on Winterfell, and the Battle of Winterfell was truly some of the craziest action we've ever seen on the show. I'm counting the Battle of the Bastards in that. This was better.

But one thing you might've missed during the epic stuff going down was a reunion between Melisandre and Arya Stark, two characters you often don't think about together. But they were together last night, and it brought to mind another time they shared a scene.

So what's the significance of that scene in season three, bearing in mind last night's episode of Game of Thrones? Pay close attention to what Melisandre says there to Arya:

"I see a darkness in you. And in that darkness, eyes staring back at me. Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes sealed shut forever. We will meet again."

Well, isn't that mighty chipper? But eagle-eyed fans might have noticed: that's actually what's gone down in the intervening episodes! Whoa...

On Reddit, people are already pointing out that yes, Arya's killed people with brown eyes, blue eyes - but she's not killed anyone with green eyes. At least not yet. But guess who's got green eyes? None other than Cersei Lannister, the bona-fide villain of this HBO fantasy epic.

Interesting. It appeared to have been foreshadowed that Jaime Lannister, Cersei's brother/lover would be the one to do the deed. But could it be Arya instead? Girl's racking up quite the body count, isn't she? I certainly can't wait to find out.
