Netflix's hit docuseries, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, has been keeping many of us who are self-isolating entertained through this unprecedented time. From Joe Exotic's diss tracks to the question of whether Carole Baskin killed her husband, it's a rip-roaring ride through the underbelly of America's exotic animal owners.
Now, one of the series' stars has claimed that he has been sleeping with a rifle under his bed after receiving up to 50 death threats a day, thanks to the documentary.
Doc Antle features alongside Exotic, and is a professional animal trainer - who previously helped Britney Spears with her iconic VMA snake performance. However, he has now claimed that his appearance on the show has prompted animal rights activists to make threats on his life.
Speaking to The Mirror, Antle said: “My life is threatened every day, one to 50 times. People say they want to kill me, they are going to kill me, they’re going to get me. I’m a professional cowboy. I grew up with a six-gun on my hip when I was 10 years old.''
Among his collection is an AK-47 that he purportedly keeps underneath his bed.
Watch as OJ Simpson says there's "no doubt" that Tiger King star Carole Baskin killed her husband:

"That’s the Wild West I grew up in so I’ve always had some automatic weapons and a variety of another 50 guns in my life," Antle added.
Exotic is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for the attempted murder-for-hire of animal rights activists Carol Baskin, and for allegedly killing tigers at his zoo to make space for other animals.
He has been battling the conviction and is now seeking a presidential pardon, plus $85 million in settlement money, per British tabloid, The Sun.
