It has now been more than 20 years since the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone book was released - and nearly 20 years since the movie of the same name hit theaters.
During the intervening years, many of us have revisited the Potter movies time and time again and some of us - possibly myself included - have wiled away hour after blissful hour listening to Stephen Fry reading the audiobooks.
Yes, two decades since Potter mania first gripped the world, the magic of the Boy Who Lived remains undimmed. Six further books, seven further movies and an entire spinoff series followed the first Potter book, alongside theme parks, attractions and studio tours all over the world.
Relive this classic Harry Potter scene, where Draco Malfoy comes face-to-face with Hermione Granger:Yet until remarkably recently, it seems that one of the movie's stars, Tom Felton, had not watched Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone since it was first released.
The actor, who placed Draco Malfoy in all of the Harry Potter movies, hosted a watchalong video on Instagram Live where he invited fans to watch the first 11 minutes and 11 seconds of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone with him.
Felton captioned the video with a short message revealing it was the first time he had watched the film in "about 20 years". He wrote: "First 11 minutes & 11 seconds of Harry Potter & the Philosophers stone
"First time I’ve watched HP1 in about 20 years"
Felton was clearly emotional while watching the footage, and teared up during the iconic scene where Harry Potter is left on the Dursley's doorstep by Albus Dumbledore.
"I have literally not seen this for probably 20 years. Look at him! Good lord! His voice – he's so sweet! He's like 5 years old." Felton said.
"I'm just tearing up rather than giving you commentary but it will get better. I think the best is yet to come in these movies! We're definitely going to try this again." He added.
Felton has been treating fans to a lot of nostalgic Potter-related content of late, not least when he hosted a reunion with fellow cast members including Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint to celebrate the movie's 19th anniversary.
In an announcement of the event, Felton shared a picture of himself alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint - who play Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley respectively in the movies, along with the caption, "It’s been a while Gryffindorks - I’ll see you tomorrow! The link in question took visitors to an event page for a live-stream 'home party', which features the description:
