There's no doubt that Brad Pitt has had one of the most prolific careers of any actor, and now that Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has reminded everyone of how great he is, it's pretty stunning to look back on some of the classics he's been involved with.

For instance, he's appeared in Twelve Monkeys, Se7en, Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Meet Joe Black, Inglourious Basterds, and many many more iconic movies.

However, if you're a major Brad Pitt fan, then you've probably noticed something intriguing: namely, that Brad always seems to have a scene where he eats something in every movie he appears in.

A lot of his fans have wondered why over the years? Is it some form of product placement, or does Pitt just have such a large appetite that he can't resist a bite even when the cameras are rolling?

Well now, Brad himself has revealed why himself, and the answer is pretty interesting. In a recent interview with JOE, co-star Margot Robbie asked Pitt about a YouTube compilation she'd seen in which Pitt was snacking in all of his scenes, and Pitt was happy to clear the matter up.

Pitt stated: "I like to busy myself, I'm a grazer by nature," before adding that he first picked up the habit when playing the character of Rusty Ryan in the 2001 remake of the classic Rat Pack heist movie Ocean's Eleven.

Pitt continued: "We just had it - well, there was actually method to that, because he was always on the run, always on the move, I figured he could never sit down and have a proper meal. So he always had to grab something on the run."

Meanwhile, a recent post made on Reddit claims that there's actually a correlation between how much food Pitt eats in a movie and its critical reception and earnings at the box office.

The Redditor, who goes by the handle LundgrensFrontKick, stated: "I decided to do a rewatch of his movies to put together a master list of all the food and see if any cool statistics popped out ... I am not implying direct correlation equals causation. I'm just presenting random data in hopes of making a few people chuckle. Hopefully, this data won't be too much to digest."

But this isn't the first time Brad's fans have noticed an interesting thing about him: did you know that he always ends up looking like the person he's dating?
