A video has emerged on social media of Cardi B appearing to settle an alleged altercation between Offset and Quavo at the 2023 Grammy awards.
According to TMZ, the rappers reportedly got into a brawl backstage at the music awards on Sunday (January 5) before the 31-year-old - whose real name is Quavious Keyate Marshall - was supposed to perform 'Without You' with Maverick City Music.
It was alleged that Quavo refused to allow the fellow 31-year-old - whose full name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus - to take part in a touching tribute for their late group member Takeoff, who was tragically killed last November.
After seeing the claims, Offset took to his Twitter page to deny it and urged that there was no "fight" between him and Quavo.
Read Offset's tweet below:Offset wrote: "What ** look like fighting my brother [yall] n****s is crazy," however, a clip has now emerged of a woman - believed to be his 30-year-old rapper wife - screaming and shouting at the pair to calm down.
In the footage filmed on an iPhone and obtained by Entertainment Tonight backstage at the Grammys, the woman shouted: "Both of y’all wrong. This is not right. No b***** shut the f*** up ‘cause you shouldn’t have been talking."
However, it's not clear who the 'WAP' hitmaker is allegedly yelling at or what exactly led to that moment. She has also not addressed the clip.
Later, while speaking to the outlet, the 'Bodak Yellow' star was asked about "settling some stuff" that had reportedly gone on just before Quavo went out to perform and she jested: "Settling? The only thing I settled was my outfit, honey."
The rapper group broke up in 2022 when Offset left, but Quavo and the late 28-year-old continued to perform as a duo called Unc & Phew - named after their familial relationship as Takeoff was Quavo's nephew.
The rappers put out their album in October before Takeoff was shot and murdered during a fight outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas, on November 1. Quavo was present during the altercation.
A 33-year-old man named Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested in December as a suspect in the murder, while the police also apprehended 22-year-old Cameron Joshua, who was charged with the unlawful carrying of a weapon in connection to the shooting, per Metro.
Takeoff was one of the stars honored during the Grammys 'In Memoriam' segment, along with other stars in the world of music who had died in the past year.
After Quavo's emotional performance for Takeoff, the outlet asked him about the importance of being at the award ceremony for his nephew and he said: "Very important. Long live Takeoff."
