Gabourey Sidibe is expecting twins!
The 39-year-old Oscar nominee took to Instagram to reveal that she is expanding her family with her husband Brandon Frankel via a series of adorable pictures in partnership with Babylist.
The first showed the couple standing together while Frankel cradled Sidibe's stomach as the pair flashed big smiles for the camera. The second one showed them pushing matching baby strollers while the third showed them staring at their reflections in a large, circular mirror.
In the caption, the actress made the exciting announcement.
"I'm pregnant!" she wrote. "We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility so we’re giving them each a baby to take care of! Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!! Twin Delivery coming soon! Twinty Twinty Four!!"

"Oh I cannot wait to see these amazing babies - and how they take over the world and your hearts and house. Congrats!!" wrote one user.
"Double the fun in your household in 2024! Congratulations! @gabby3shabby do you need me to work on some vocabulary for them? lol!" added another while a third chimed in writing: "THIS JUST MADE ME SMILE SO BIG!!!!! Congrats!"
It comes after the American Horror Story alum announced that she and her husband, whom she met on a dating app, had tied the knot in secret in a slightly less conventional way than her pregnancy announcement.
While appearing as a guest on Live with Kelly and Ryan back in December, she let the cat out of the bag, confirming that she and Frankel got married "at the kitchen table" about four months after their engagement which took place in November 2020.
"The thing about weddings is I don't like them. I don't like them," she told the hosts. "Here's an example of how much I don't like them: I'm actually married. We got married over a year ago."
When asked if this was in fact "breaking news", Sidibe responded yes and reiterated her hate for weddings.
"I really don't like weddings," she stated.
Later on, her husband took to Instagram to also confirm the news with a montage of beautiful photos of the couple showing off their rings.
"SURPRISE! I can finally call her my WIFE publicly! Since @gabby3shabby finally spilled the beans today on Live with Kelly and Ryan," he wrote in the caption. "We’ve been MARRIED since March '21! Relieved we can finally tell the world.
"So thankful to have found my forever person, my partner-in-crime, and the love of my life. Every day is the best day with you. Nobody I would rather raise cats with and be in bed by a smooth 8pm with. Love you forever," he concluded.
Back in November 2020, Sidibe announced to her fans that she was engaged with yet another heartfelt post about the love of her life.
"It’s weird that people think we’re already married but I guess our hearts and intentions for each other are just that clear to see," she started before revealing: "My BFF proposed and now I get to hold him forever."
She then went on to share the qualities she loves about her now-husband.
"The funniest man I’ve ever met. The sweetest human to exist. @brandontour made up a song for when I put my bonnet on at night. The second I look a bit stressed and overwhelmed, he jumps into action to take over what he can for me. Every moment with him is a joy. He is the partner I thought I was too independent to need. I’ve learned so much about myself through him and I feel grateful and excited to learn more about the entire world with him by my side.
"My partner, my best friend, my cats' daddy, my mans, my heart, my fiancé!!!" she added.
