Awards season is well and truly underway for 2024 and the stars did not disappoint as they took to the red carpet for the Golden Globes.
Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 7, the 81st annual Golden Globes was the first event in the calendar marking the best of music, TV, and film.
Of course, the stars were dressed to the nines as they took to the red carpet on Sunday - though it appears many of this year's cohort of men opted to ditch shirts under their smartly tailored suits, while the ladies served serious glamor.
Here's our pick of the best looks from the 2024 Golden Globes red carpet:
Margot Robbie's star turn as Barbie in the Greta Gerwig-directed movie was one of the biggest hits of 2023, and the actress is not getting out of character anytime soon if this stunning look is anything to go by.
The Australia star went for a hot pink shimmery sequinned floor-length gown paired with a frilly fishnet accessory thrown over her arms to complete the look, keeping her jewelry, hair and make-up simple to let the dress do the talking.
Kate Beckinsale never puts a fashion foot wrong and this grey chiffon number was no exception. The look comprised of a bejeweled bodysuit with a high neck and large chiffon flower at the shoulder, as well as a floor-length skirt which gave a glimpse of Kate's statuesque legs.
Two large bangles completed the look, while Kate's hair was swept up in an updo with wavy bangs.
Timothee Chalamet chose to rock a low neckline on his shirt, but all eyes were on that very glitzy blazer he paired with it.
The jacket was the standout part of his all-black look, which he paired with a black and silver necklace, keeping his tousled locks in their signature effortless style.
Selena Gomez rocked one of the standout looks of the night in a red gown with a very striking silhouette.
The bodice perfectly framed her waist before the skirt of the gown billowed out in a dramatic fashion, with the asymmetrical hem showing a flash of the black inner material as she posed for photographers.
Reese Witherspoon proved you can't go wrong with an LBD for an awards show, keeping it classy in a column dress with a contrasting pastel swathe of material at the bust and shoulder.
Jennifer Lopez made sure her famous curves were perfectly highlighted in this pink body-hugging gown with a strapless top, however, the arm pieces really stole the show, being covered in rose-shaped embellishments before trailing down into an impressive train.
The singer and actress's hair channeled old Hollywood glamor as she styled her caramel locks in loose waves framing her face.
Fresh off the success of Saltburn, Rosamund Pike made sure her red carpet appearance at the Golden Globes was memorable.
Her black lace dress was elevated by a fishnet layer over her shoulders and arms with floral lace embellishments, but she took the look to the next level with her headpiece, with the apple-shaped visor carrying the floral lace over her face.
Florence Pugh opted for a scarlet number on the red carpet, with a strappy bodice and swathes of tulle for the skirt, with subtle floral embellishments, which paired perfectly with her edgy platinum blonde hairdo.
Pedro Pascal may have had his arm in a sling but it did not stop him serving on the red carpet.
The actor went for a classic black ensemble, with his shirt featuring a bold white print, and paired the look with shiny black boots.
Christmas might be over but Taylor Swift kept it festive in a green sequinned number and looked absolutely fabulous while doing so.
The singer chose a floor-length column dress with a fitted bust and spaghetti straps, keeping her hair and make-up low-key so as not to pull focus from the gown.
Emma Stone gave serious glam in an embellished gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high split, revealing her nude strappy heels underneath.
Meryl Streep proved that red carpet dressing can be given a more modern spin as she took to the red carpet in a sequinned black two-piece suit with a frilly white shirt underneath.
Given that she once played a fashion editor in The Devil Wears Prada, it's no surprise the star knows a thing or two about slaying at an awards show, completing the look with cat eye sunglasses.
While Emily Blunt looked ethereal in a gold leaf-embellished gown with a white tulle skirt, The Office star John Krasinski proved men don't always have to default to black on the red carpet.
He paired a red blazer with burgundy slacks as he accompanied his wife for the photos, finishing the look with a bow tie.
Jared Leto is never afraid to give a look his own twist, and he made sure his red carpet ensemble reflected his signature style.
He paired white trousers with a black blazer, forgoing the shirt entirely to make sure his chain was centre-stage, and left his tousled locks loose around his shoulders.
Also giving a flash of chest was Lenny Kravitz, who opted to go shirt-free too. His suit framed his silhouette before finishing with flared trousers, giving the classic look a very modern spin.
