It seems as though Gwyneth Paltrow's glittering acting credits and 1999 Academy Award may impress everyone in the world, except her daughter Apple.

Despite having a career that spans 30 years, 54 movies, and bagging awards including Golden Globes, Emmy’s, and Academy Awards, her teen daughter has shunned her impressive back catalog of work.

What's more, Gwyneth's 15-year-old son Moses, too, jumped on the bandwagon and admitted to not having much interest in seeing his mom in a movie.

Gwyneth revealed the unlikely scenario of her kids - whom she shares with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - during the premiere episode of Shop TODAY with Jill Martin.

The Goop founder, 48, has been a household name in Hollywood for years on end, but that doesn't mean her 17-year-old daughter has ever seen her on the silver screen.

"My kids have never seen me in a movie," she revealed. "I mean, I think my son has seen the Iron Man things, but I don't think my daughter has ever seen me in a movie."

Among some of her biggest hits, Gwyneth has appeared in Shakespeare in Love, The Talented Mr Ripley, and Sliding Doors.

Gwyneth added Apple "thinks it's weird if I'm onscreen."

"She says she likes me here," the actress said as she placed both hands over her heart. Paltrow admitted, "I also, really hate, hate, hate seeing myself in a movie ever."

While the actress may not like revisiting her own films, she did admit there is one scene she doesn't mind rewatching.

Gwyneth reunited with her costars from the 2001 film The Royal Tenenbaums earlier this week, where she recalled receiving a special visit from her father, the late producer and director Bruce Paltrow, on set.

"I have a memory of my dad visiting," she said during a recent Tribeca Festival reunion of the film's cast for its 20th anniversary, per USA Today. "He came the day that we did a scene where I’m getting off the bus and Richie’s picking me up, and my dad was there. It was a very special day."

"It's kind of like the only scene that I can watch myself of my whole career," she said, per Entertainment Weekly.

Bruce sadly passed away the following year aged 58, from complications of cancer and pneumonia.
