Unless you're a key worker, the coronavirus pandemic has most likely given you more time on your hands. So why not use it to watch that movie or TV show you've simply never had the time to binge until now?

Well, this is something that's been made even easier thanks to HBO, which is offering 500 hours of TV shows and movies for free. Perfect as we save lives by following the lockdown orders to stay at home!

HBO's decision to offer free content is a particular godsend for anyone who has been left out of work and can't afford the nominal fee for other streaming services like Netflix and Disney+.

In a press release, cited by Mashable, HBO said: "To provide some entertainment relief for those doing their part to keep everyone safe and healthy in this time of social isolation, HBO is making almost 500 hours of top programming available to stream for free for a limited time on HBO NOW and HBO GO - without a subscription."
