Heidi Klum's daughter has responded to the criticism she faced following her lingerie photoshoot with her supermodel mom.
During an interview with Page Six on Monday, the 18-year-old addressed the situation after social media users stated that the shoot for the Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi was "weird".
However, the teen didn't seem to be too phased by the online trolling.
"I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions," she told the outlet. "I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom.
"I think the photos turned out great, and we had an amazing time."
Check out some snapshots from their photoshoot below:Leni then went on to talk about how she avoids looking at online comments and theories in general so she isn't usually aware of any criticism.
"I just don’t look at it, honestly," she said. "If I don’t look at it, I don’t have to pay any attention to it, so I just don’t know what is there."
The teen model then emphasized how much she enjoyed working on the campaign with 49-year-old mom Heidi, saying: "I had an amazing day, an amazing shoot, it’s out, I love it."
The news comes after the Italian undergarment brand posted a video as well as some photos from the lingerie shoot onto their Instagram account.
"Like mother and daughter," they captioned one of the posts showing the duo wearing lacy lingerie sets and matching heels. "Every woman has a special place in her heart for her favorite lingerie."
While some people received it well, commending the models for their beauty, others slammed the entire project as strange.
Some even went as far as calling it "disturbing."
"I like to think I'm progressive in these things but mom and daughter in lingerie in the same video shoot is just a bit ick," commented one user.
However, others disagreed, with some fans commenting that they saw "nothing wrong" with the shoot and another even comparing the underwear to "modern-day bathing suits".
This isn't the first project that the mother-daughter-duo have worked on together.
For last year's January issue, the Klums graced the cover of Vogue Germany alongside a candid interview with the outlet where the 18-year-old was described to be a "mirror image" of her mom.
"It was only a matter of time before I would try to become a model myself," she said. "The first offer came when I was only 12 or 13, from a brand I liked to wear: Brandy Melville. At that time I begged my mother, but no chance. Now I understand that it would have been too early."
Their joint cover marked Leni's first official entry into the world of modeling - the first of many more yet to come, I'm sure.
