Earlier this week, the internet was practically flooded with images, tweets and articles featuring Keanu Reeves and his first public girlfriend in decades, 46-year-old artist and philanthropist Alexandra Grant.
This past Saturday, Reeves was spotted holding hands with Grant at the LACMA Art + Film Gala. After years of keeping his personal life under wraps, the people of the internet were pleased to learn that the 55-year-old Matrix star appeared to be in a loving relationship with a new woman - an "age-appropriate" woman, no less.

The artist, with her silver locks and facial features, bears a striking resemblance to 74-year-old actress Helen Mirren. And so much so that people actually thought Reeves was dating the Academy-award winner.
"I wasn’t wearing my glasses at first and I legit thought he was dating Helen Mirren which I also would have been here for," one person said.
"Keanu Reeves is dating a woman my age who kinda looks like Helen Mirren and I have never been more attracted to him," another fan tweeted.
"Did anyone else thought when they saw the image of Keanu Reeves with his new partner that she looked like Helen Mirren at first? xD," another user wrote. "Regardless, I’m very happy for Keanu and hope him and Alexandra have a very loving relationship as they have known each other for a long time."
Well, given all the comparisons being drawn between the British national treasure and Grant, it was only a matter of time before Mirren was asked about it - and yesterday, in fact, she was.
On the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie, The Good Liar, the 74-year-old spoke with ET and was asked to comment on the mix-up.

So there you have it, Keanu Reeves isn't dating Helen Mirren, who has been married to director Taylor Hackford for 22 years, but the actress seems pretty thrilled by the comparisons!
