Holly Madison is revealing the dark side of her life in the Playboy Mansion.

The former playmate spent almost eight years living in Hugh Hefner's pad as one of his many girlfriends.

Now, she and her fellow ex-playmate Bridget Marquardt are exposing what allegedly went on in the infamous mansion.

On the first episode of their podcast Girls Next Level, Madison described the disturbing details of her sex life with Hefner, which she called "traumatic" and "hell".

"He wouldn’t move. He would be like a bump on the log in the middle of the bed," the 42-year-old recalled, before explaining how she and the other women in the mansion would try to get sex "over with as quickly as possible".

"We thought of it as a chore that we had to do or else we’ll get kicked out of the house. Everybody just wanted to make it go by as quickly as possible," she said.

Marquardt and Madison went on to discuss the group sex they were apparently obliged to participate in. "I can’t explain to you guys how embarrassing that whole routine was, especially as we got later down the road when there would be a lot of conflict with the other girls," Madison said.

"You’re literally sitting there naked having sex in front of a group of people who hate you and talk s*** about you while you’re having sex — and you can hear it. It was just like hell," she added.

The Vegas Diaries author concluded that life in the Playboy mansion had left her emotionally scarred, saying: "I think that whole experience was traumatic to me."

Madison lived with Hefner from 2001 to 2008, during which time she rocketed to fame on the E! reality TV show The Girls Next Door.

She later moved on with musical festival promoter Pasquale Rotella. The pair tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed two children - a girl, Rainbow Aurora, and a son, Forest Leonardo - before calling time on their relationship in 2018.
