Howard Stern slammed Novak Djokovic on his show and called the Serbian tennis star a "f***nut" and "douchebag" for refusing to get the coronavirus vaccine.

Last week, the Serbian tennis world number one made headlines when he was denied entry into the country after arriving in Melbourne with the hope of defending his title at the Australian Open.

The Australian Border Force revealed in a statement that the 34-year-old athlete was detained due to his unvaccinated status.

Eventually, the Australian Government overturned the decision to deny the tennis star entry into the country.

Listen to Howard Stern's rant right here:

Now, the Sirius XM radio presenter has shared his two cents on the situation, and it's safe to say he didn't hold back.

"That f***nut Djokovic - the Joker. I call him the Joker. What a f****** a******. The first I heard of this guy is that he doesn’t want to get his vaccine. And he’s running around... they should throw him right the f*** out of tennis. That's it. Goodbye," Stern said on his radio show.

Stern, who has famously railed against unvaccinated Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers, further went on to call Djokovic a "douchebag".

"[Djokovic] Should be out of tennis. He doesn’t care about anyone else," he said.

Stern also added that for Djokovic to say "getting vaccinated is a private decision. You shouldn’t be mandated," isn't really a valid argument.

"Stay away from other people. That’s like saying smoking is a private decision. Well, that’s true, but don't smoke in my face, f***nut. What a dummy. Just a big dumb tennis player," he added.

Djokovic hadn't spoken publicly about his vaccination status, however, he did confirm to border officials at the time of the deportation order that he was unvaccinated.

He is believed to have previously been granted an exemption from Covid vaccination rules to play in the Australian Open.

Despite this, the Australian Border Force argued at the time that he had "failed to provide appropriate evidence" for his claim that he is exempt from Australia's double vaccination rule.

Djokovic's mother Dijana has since spoken out about the situation, claiming that her son was "subjected to torture" while fighting his deportation from Australia.

Dijana said at a press conference held on January 10, per The Independent:

"Thank you for coming. We're here to celebrate our son Novak, a boy who in his family learned not to put up with lies and cheating. He always fought for justice. He’s done nothing wrong, he hasn’t broken any of their laws and he was subjected to torture, to harassment.

"He fought against that system and the government because he thought he had the right to be there and he went there to win the tournament."
