A British influencer sparked a debate online after she claimed that kids should be banned from weddings.

Now, your wedding day is one of the most, if not, the most important day of your life. So of course, you can't blame yourself for wanting things to be perfect. But naturally, there are going to be things beyond one's control; the overall pace of the day, the punctuality of guests, and perhaps the most unpredictable of them all... children.

Children can be wild even at the best of times, so it's no wonder why a lot of people choose to keep them away from special events like weddings.

Olivia Attwood, a British TV personality and former Love Island contestant, has recently doubled down on this view, stating that it is "unacceptable" to have kids at a marriage ceremony.

Speaking on a recent teaser clip of Jamie Laing's Private Parts podcast, the 32-year-old said: "The kids at wedding thing, for me, is absolutely unacceptable." Attwood went on to explain in the 34-second video that was posted to TikTok: "Even if I had my own children, I wouldn’t invite them."

While the influencer admitted she doesn't have a kid of her own to exclude from a wedding, she’s still not a fan of the idea.

"When I see, like, the bride with like, this little thing hanging off her dress, it’s little grubby hands, I’m like, what the f***?" Attwood went on. "You’re in a Vera Wang silk dress, you put your little grubby chicken finger hands all over it? No way."

She also compared children making noises during the vows as sounds out of Jurassic Park.

"I’d be like, shut the f*** up," she joked.

Well, she has a point there.

Taking to the comments, TikTok users left their own opinions on the view with some criticizing the star while others relayed their own personal experiences in order to defend her stance.

One social media user agreed saying that a wedding was "not the place for kids" while other users simply just related to the influencer.

"Adult activity. No kids required. They don’t even want to be there." another supporter wrote, with one person adding: "No kids at a wedding. Screaming, crying, fighting and attention seeking."

However, others disagreed with the star, with this one user writing: "I'm the opposite, weddings.. kids sliding across the dance floor stuffing sausage rolls falling asleep on 2 chairs pushed together... I love kids."

"Kids make a wedding!! It's about two families coming together and kids should be there to celebrate," one TikTok user added.

Another added that "kids make a wedding" while a third said that their son would be at their wedding as well as their nephew stating: "They are a part of my life forever so why would I not include them in my special day."

Since it was posted yesterday, the video has been viewed over 1.4 million times.
