James Hong has become the oldest person ever to be given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at the age of 93.
The actor, director, and producer has over 650 film and TV credits to his name and a stellar career that has spanned over seven decades - starring in everything from Blade Runner to Disney's original Mulan.
He was joined on the Hollywood Boulevard red carpet by fellow stars Daniel Dae Kim and Jamie Lee Curtis, who paid tribute to Hong while he was presented with his star on Tuesday at a ceremony in front of Madame Tussauds.

The presentation was timed to coincide with Asian/Pacific Heritage Month in the USA, and presided over by Representative Judy Chu from the Congressional Asian Pacific Caucus. As well as speeches from Kim and Curtis, it also featured a dance performance by the Shaolin Entertainment Group, per CNN.
In a live stream shared on the Walk of Fame's website, Kim - who sponsored Hong for his star - said that no one had "blazed a trail" for Asian actors quite like he had.
"Thank you, James, for your body of work, your quality of work, and your strength of character," the Hawaii-Five-0 star said, adding: "You are truly deserving of the honor you are about to receive, and you make us all so very proud."
Hong - who despite his age still had a spring in his step - made an improvised speech, saying: "As you can see, I don’t have any speeches, because I’m not that kind of person. I just come here. I want to feel the moment."

After busting out a few of his favorite dance moves, he added: "I’m here! I’m alive!"
Hong's friend and castmate Curtis - who starred alongside him in the recently released comedy-drama Everything Everywhere All At Once - also spoke at the ceremony, saying it was high time Hong received some recognition.
"It’s about f***ing time that we are here honoring James Hong with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," she said.
The actor is the 2,723rd person to receive a star on the infamous boulevard since it first started handing them out in 1961.
