Jamie Lee Curtis has encouraged people to embrace aging and is speaking out against the use of Botox and plastic surgery.

The 63-year-old actress - who is currently on a press tour for the forthcoming Halloween Ends movie - shared with Today the advice she's given her daughters Annie, 35, and Ruby, 26.

The Freaky Friday actress, who has admitted to having undergone facial procedures in the past, urged people to not "mess with your face," and proudly declared herself "pro-aging" during the interview on October 10.

"I did plastic surgery. I put Botox in my head. Does Botox make the big wrinkle go away? Yes. But then you look like a plastic figurine," Curtis explained.

The Everything Everywhere All at Once actress has also called out people who've made anti-aging an essential part of their day-to-day lives.

"Walk a mile in my shoes. I have done it. It did not work. And all I see is people now focusing their life on that," Curtis concluded in the candid interview.

The Knives Out star has always been outspoken on the subject of ageism within beauty standards and has long been against going under the knife.

In an interview with Fast Company last October, the Halloween franchise star reflected on her own experience with cosmetic surgery.

"The current trend of fillers and procedures, and this obsession with filtering, and the things that we do to adjust our appearance on Zoom are wiping out generations of beauty," she said, adding, "Once you mess with your face, you can't get it back."

For the award-winning actress, plastic surgery came with terrible side effects as she was prescribed painkillers following a minor procedure on her eyes in 1989.

As well as not liking the outcome of the surgery, Curtis developed an addiction to Vicodin - a prescription opioid that is supposed to reduce severe pain - which she kept a secret for a decade.

"I tried plastic surgery and it didn't work. It got me addicted to Vicodin. I'm 22 years sober now," she disclosed to the outlet last year.

Curtis also shared a similar sentiment with the Telegraph back in 2002, telling the outlet: "I’ve had a little lipo. I’ve had a little Botox. And you know what? None of it works. None of it."

I think we can all agree that the actress is aging gracefully and is setting a brilliant example for everyone.
