Jamie Lee Curtis has gone viral on social media for her enthusiastic reaction to co-star Michelle Yeoh's Golden Globe win.

The two actors shared the screen in the comedy-drama Everything Everywhere All At Once - which earned the 60-year-old actress a gold statue at the prestigious award show in the category of best actress in a comedy or musical.

While the veteran actor was stunned by her award for her role as Evelyn Wang in the A24 movie, no one was more delighted than her co-star Curtis.

The 64-year-old movie star was seen sitting beside Yeoh when her name was announced as the winner. She then immediately threw both of her hands in the air and cheered loudly in excitement, while the actress covered her mouth in shock.

After the event, the True Lies actress shared a picture of her reaction on Instagram with the caption: "Once a cheerleader. ALWAYS a cheerleader. My Bae won a Golden Globe. Her first nomination and win."

Also, on the red carpet before the ceremony, Lee gushed about the Crazy Rich Asians star to Variety and said that her involvement in the movie was a deciding factor in her signing up.

"My agent said to me, 'you know, it’s pretty out there.' and I was like, 'yeah, but Michelle Yeoh is going to be in the movie, right?'. And he said 'yes', and I said, 'yeah, I’ll do it,'" she recalled.

"The movie itself was less important to me, it was important that I understood who Deirdre [her character] was and I understood who Evelyn [Michelle’s character] was, and their relationship and their love story," she added.

The iconic actress was also nominated for her performance in the flick in the best supporting actress in a motion picture category, however she lost out on the win to Angela Bassett for her role as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
