Brittany Aldean has posted a photo throwing out her Balenciaga clothes after the fashion brand drew backlash over a controversial campaign.

The 33-year-old wife of country music star Jason Aldean shared a photo of herself carrying plastic bags full of the brand's clothes and shoes with the caption: "It's trash day."

Aldean was reacting to the fashion house's recent scandal around its bizarre photoshoot that featured child models posing with bags in the shape of teddy bears wearing bondage and BDSM gear.

In addition to the photoshoot, eagle-eyed online investigators noticed that in one of the pictures, there appeared to be papers from a controversial Supreme Court case related to child pornography. Now, many stars like the mother-of-two are coming out to condemn the Spanish luxury brand.

In the picture on her Instagram page, Aldean was seen donning a stylish all-black outfit that included a sweater and fitted slacks. She matched the look with big black cat-eye sunglasses.

She also wore a pair of platform boots as she held a clear bag filled with the high-end label's accessories, such as $400 slide sandals and a $3,000 orange handbag.

Her husband, musician Jason Aldean, commented a series of clapping emojis on the post, adding: "Show em how to 'walk the walk' babe!"

Aldean's denunciation post comes after Kim Kardashian - Balenciaga's ambassador - put out a statement in response to the criticism she received from social media users after not speaking out sooner about the controversial campaign.

Posting to her Instagram stories and Twitter, the reality TV star said she had been "shaken by the disturbing images" and "any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society - period."

The 42-year-old said her silence was not down to a lack of revulsion and outrage, but because she wanted to talk to the company to "understand for [herself] how this could have happened".

Praising the brand for removing the campaigns and putting out a statement, Kardashian told her followers that she believed the luxury couture house understood the gravity of the issue.

The mother-of-four then concluded that she was "re-evaluating" her relationship with them based on how much accountability they take.

Initially, the brand blamed the photo shoot on the Paris-based photographer Gabriele Galimberti for taking the problematic pictures.

However, the 45-year-old came forward to address the criticism on social media and alleged that, although he shot the pictures, he was "not entitled" to select the products or models featured in the campaign.

Therefore, after more backlash, Balenciaga took to its Instagram page on November 28 to "strongly condemn" child abuse in a third statement.

"We strongly condemn child abuse; it was never our intent to include it in the narrative," the luxury couture company stated: "This was a wrong choice by Balenciaga, combined with our failure in assessing and validating images."

Referring to the court filings visible in some of the shots, the label clarified that the campaign was meant "to replicate a business office environment," and alleged that all the props were "provided by third parties".

They described the "inclusion of these unapproved documents" as "reckless negligence" and said that it takes "full accountability for our lack of oversight and control of the documents in the background".

"We want to learn from our mistakes and identify ways we can contribute," Balenciaga concluded. "Balenciaga reiterates its sincere apologies for the offense we have caused and extends its apologies to talents and partners."
