Jason Momoa was involved in a collision near Calabasas, Los Angeles, on Sunday (July 24) morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 11:00AM when 21-year-old Vitaliy Avagimyan jumped lanes and smashed into the 42-year-old actor's 1970 Oldsmobile.

Per CNN, the collision report stated that Avagimyan’s vehicle went "directly into the path of Jason Momoa’s vehicle," noting that he was "ejected from his motorcycle" after hitting the front left side of the car.

Consequently, the young man suffered "minor, non-life threatening injuries" as a result of the crash, while the Game of Thrones notable remained unhurt.

Watch the actor wait with paramedics after the accident:

Soon after the collision, Momoa flagged down a driver to call 911, and Avagimyan was taken by ambulance to Northridge Hospital.  The Aquaman star "remained on scene throughout the investigation".

Mamoa has been vocal about his passion for automobiles in the past, even restoring his then-wife Lisa Bonet’s 1965 Ford Mustang in August 2020.

The See actor posted a video on YouTube at the time, of him getting the 54-year-old actress' car, which she purchased at age 17, remodeled.

"I know we can’t relieve a memory, but maybe we can rebuild one," Momoa said, to which Bonet gushed: "Oh, my gosh, it is so beautiful."

In other news, Momoa was named an "Advocate for Life Below Water" by the United Nations last month for his involvement in ocean conservation work.

"With this designation, I hope to continue my own journey to protect and conserve the ocean and all living things on our beautiful blue planet, for our generation and the generations to come," Mamoa said as he received the title from the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) at the UN Ocean Conference in Portugal.

The native Hawaiian with Polynesian roots actor has also recently been filming for the Fast and Furious film Fast X and is slated to play a "flamboyant" villain in the franchise.

"I’m gonna go do Fast 10, that’s gonna be fun… it’s fun, I get to play the bad guy, which I haven’t gotten to do for a while…" he told ET Online. "Now I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy. A little panache."

He has joined the fray alongside Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese, Charlize Theron, and Nathalie Emmanuel.
