Jason Momoa was captured on video handing out water bottles on a flight to Hawaii to commemorate the aircraft's partnership with his water company Mananalu.

In a video posted on TikTok by Kylee Yoshikawa - who goes by the handle @livinglikekylee - the 42-year-old actor was seen surprising passengers by personally handing out his recyclable aluminum water bottles.

The clip was captioned: "When Jason Momoa is your flight attendant," and featured a remix of 'Under the Sea' from The Little Mermaid as Momoa smiled at his fellow travelers.

Hawaiian Airlines first announced its partnership with Mamoa's company in April and noted that it will be using Mananalu in "its Premium Cabins to replace plastic water bottles with infinitely recyclable aluminum bottles".

Avi Mannis, the chief marketing and communications officer at Hawaiian Airlines, said in a statement that they would like to remain "steadfast" in their commitment and help use more sustainable products.

The Aquaman actor himself documented the special occasion by posting his own video footage on Instagram to his 17.1 million followers.

He said he was excited to be returning home, as he was born in Honolulu, and added how "cool" it was to be handing his water bottles out to fellow passengers.

In the caption of the post, he said the trip was a full circle moment for him, writing: "Mahalo @hawaiianairlines for allowing me and my team to capture this special moment."

"It’s a dream come true. My idea to create @Mananalu.water came to me while on a flight. I’m grateful for your support and it’s an honor to have Hawaiian Airlines be the first airline to partner with Mananalu," he added.

Mamoa is an outspoken climate change activist. In June, he was anointed the UN Environment Programme's (UNEP) Advocate for Life Below Water at the UN Ocean Conference in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Game of Thrones actor posted a series of photos on Instagram that showed his children listening to his discussion at the panel.

In his caption, Momoa wrote: "With great respect, admiration, and humility, I join the UN family and commit to the critically important work: to manage, protect and preserve the Ocean and all living creatures on our beautiful, BLUE planet."

"We must seek to right the wrongs we have done against our children and grandchildren, turn the tide on our irresponsible stewardship, and build momentum for a future where humanity can once again live in harmony with nature," he added.
