Popular YouTuber Jenna Marbles has quit YouTube over racist and sexist videos and issued a public apology.
In an emotional video, the 33-year-old, who has been posting on the platform for decade, apologized for her most controversial videos, which she has now made private and explained that she would be leaving the platform.
She said that the videos, which featured racist and sexist content, were wrong and gave an example of herself wearing alleged blackface when she dressed up as Nicki Minaj, something she said she did without intending to wear blackface.
The 33-year-old also referred to a rap song she made called 'Bounce that D*ck'..

Marbles addressed a third video which criticized women who had multiple sexual partners, something she admitted was an example of slut-shaming, and she apologized to anyone who this may have hurt.
Marbles, whose real name is Jenna Mourey, said that she is "just going to move on from this channel for now", but added that she didn't know if she would be leaving the platform "forever" or not.
She said: "I want to make sure that the things that I've put into the world aren't hurting anyone. I'm ashamed of things I've said and done in my past."

Addressing her controversial Nicki Minaj impression from 2011, Marbles said: "It was not my intention to do blackface.
"I do want to tell you how unbelievably sorry I am if I ever offended you by posting this video or by doing this impression, and that that was never my intention. It's not okay. It’s shameful. It's awful. I wish it wasn't part of my past."
She then described her rap song, which was uploaded in the same year, as being "inexcusable".
She said: "I'm incredibly sorry if this offended you then, now, whenever. It doesn't need to exist. It shouldn't have existed. I shouldn't have said that ever. It's not cool, it's not cute, it's not okay and I'm embarrassed that I ever made that. Period."

Marbles addressed the slut-shaming video, which was made in 2012, a year she described as being one of the hardest of her life.
The 33-year-old said: "[The video] came across unbelievably slut-shaming and I'm sorry… I ranted about girls that ran around and slept around and that's wrong. I had a lot of internalized misogyny I feel like at that time in my life and I'm sorry if I ever offended you with the things that I said.
"That video's been private for a long time - it does not reflect my attitude towards anyone in their bodies - that's really been eating me up inside for a long time and I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry if I ever made you feel bad about yourself or your choices or anything."
Marbles rose to fame in 2010 with her breakout viral video 'How To Trick People Into Thinking You're Good Looking', which has received over 69 million views at the time of writing.
