There have been multiple debates online but one never-ending topic that seems to crop up from time to time is the pronunciation of Rihanna's name.
Apparently, some folks pronounce the 34-year-old's name as Ri-On-A rather than Ri-An-Ah, which is how Ortega pronounced it - and we can confirm that this is the correct way to say it.
I'm not exactly sure why the world seems to have trouble pronouncing three simple syllables, but they do, but we're here to clear it up once and for all.
Netflix's very own Wednesday Addams, also known as Jenna Ortega, has recently become a point of reference as she received praise for correctly saying the 'Don't Stop The Music' singer's name correctly.

The 20-year-old actress took to the stage at Tuesday night's 80th installment of the Golden Globe ceremony where she presented the award for best original song which Rihanna was nominated for.
Before calling out the winner - which ended up being RRR's 'Naatu Naatu' - she stated: "I'm gonna get to original song in a minute. We got artists like Taylor Swift and Rihanna competing for that award."
Immediately the moment was clipped and uploaded to TikTok, where social media users gathered around to commend her.
"I’ve literally heard Rihanna say it Ri ah nah in a song before," confirmed one user while another emphasized that Ortega's version was "Rihanna approved."
"She actually said it right," said a third.
Not only did fans comment their opinions, but the official account for the singer's own beauty brand, Fenty Beauty, also approved the message writing: "Miss Wednesday understood the assignment."
However, one user said that her name is pronounced in the way that the 34-year-old's isn't: "My name is Rihanna... but I pronounce it Re-On-Ah."

"Shout out to Jenna Ortega for the correct pronunciation of Rihanna," read the caption of the video.
Rihanna's debunked the entire fiasco surrounding her name anyway, but it still seems as though some people haven't yet grasped the pronunciation.
So there we have it.
Guys, if you can't say it after watching the video above, just resort to calling her by her government name, Robyn, instead of continuing to butcher her middle name. Thank you.
