Jennifer Aniston has sparked engagement rumors after fans noticed a ring on her finger while appearing at the SAG Awards.

On Saturday night, the 55-year-old actress, who was nominated at the SAG Awards for her role in The Morning Show, stunned audiences as she appeared on the red carpet at the prestigious event dressed in a glittery silver dress by Celine with a thigh-high leg slit.

Her hair was cut into a sleek bob and as for her makeup, the star opted for a simple glam with bold lashes - a look that really complimented her gown.

But while you would expect Aniston's gown to be the hot talking point online, one feature of her 'fit stood out the most and it was none other than a not-so-subtle diamond ring on her left hand.

"OMG Jennifer Anniston's engagement ring?! WHOA. Gorgeous!" wrote one user alongside a close-up picture of Aniston at the award show while others questioned whether the star was seeing someone after a long time being single.

But so far, there has been no confirmation on whether it was just a piece of jewelry to complement her look or it has another special meaning.

Speaking to UsWeekly, a source recently revealed that Aniston is open to finding love, but if she doesn't, "she's not going to beat herself up [about it]."

"She is fine on her own," they said before adding: "[Jennifer] is in a great place. She's happy, healthy and fulfilled by her career, family and friends. [She's] been through a lot, but she feels blessed to be thriving personally and professionally."

When asked about the prospect of walking down the aisle in the future, she told Allure in 2022: "Never say never, but I don’t have any interest."

She continued: "I’d love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, 'I need support.' It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody’s arms and say, 'That was a tough day.'"

However, right now, Aniston is focused on self-healing after some though experiences that left her scarred.

"I feel like I’m coming through a period that was challenging and coming back into the light," she told the outlet. "I have had to do personal work that was long overdue, parts of me that hadn’t healed from the time I was a little kid."

"I’m a very independent person..." she continued. "I’ve realized you will always be working on stuff. I am a constant work in progress. Thank God. How uninteresting would life be if we all achieved enlightenment and that was it?"
