Jennifer Lawrence and Jonah Hill are just two of the big names headlining Netflix's latest comedy flick Don't Look Up.

The movie's star-studded cast also features the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Timothee Chalamet, and Chris Evans.

Even pop sensation Ariana Grande and rapper Kid Cudi have supporting roles.

With such a huge cast, it's not surprising that people are curious to find out what it was like behind the scenes.

Lawrence, who plays a frustrated scientist trying to warn the world about a comet hurtling towards earth in the Adam McKay movie, gave us an insight into her working relationship with Jonah Hill in a video for Vanity Fair.

In the clip, the 31-year-old actress talked viewers through the Don't Look Up trailer. When Hill's character appeared on screen, she stopped to chat about his improvisational acting style.

"Jonah's character is the President’s son, but also the Chief-of-Staff, which some might think is nepotism," she explains, adding. "He is the worst."

"It was really, really hard filming with Jonah, and just not ruining take after take, laughing," she added.

Lawrence then recalled one particularly funny day on-set.

"We one time dedicated an entire day to him just improv-ing insults at me. It was amazing. He and Meryl are the only ones who really should do that kind of improv.

"I mean, he’s just a comedic master. We all did some stuff. Just not as well as Jonah."

As the trailer rolled on, Lawrence pointed out some of the unscripted lines and gags that Hill had improved. She also describes the comedy as "a really fun, hilarious way to laugh at ourselves."

Alongside Lawrence's frustrated astronomer Kate Dibiasky, the film stars DiCaprio as her professor Dr. Randall Mindy. After trying and failing to warn the president (played by Meryl Streep) about earth's impending doom, the pair go on a media tour to try and garner some support and save humanity.

Don't Look Up is available to stream on Netflix now.
