Jojo Siwa has recently opened up about her ongoing feud with Candance Cameron Bure after the Fuller House actress made some controversial comments about marriage.

Speaking with The Wall Street Journal, 46-year-old Cameron Bure explained how she broke off her partnership with Hallmark Media due to its decision to feature same-sex couples in their movies. Instead, she turned to work with Great American Family (GAF), which is known for its conservative values.

When asked if GAF would be looking to feature any same-sex couples in their work, she responded by saying no and added that, as GAF's Chief Creative Officer, she intends to "keep traditional marriage at the core" of any future projects.

Of course, this didn't sit well with people and immediately sparked intense criticism online, with one of the most vocal critics being none other than former Dance Moms star, Jojo Siwa.

The 19-year-old slammed Cameron Bure as "rude" and "disrespectful" via a post on Instagram, and in doing so, gained the support of other prominent stars such as Hilarie Burton and Fuller House alum, Jodie Sweetin.

Now Siwa has opened up about the entire fiasco, stating that she's not likely to ever speak to the 46-year-old again.

Speaking to PEOPLE, she said: "As I'm getting older, I'm starting to realize what an impact I really do get to have. [I have] a chance to use my voice, use my platform for something good, and to change the world for the better."

She then went on to talk about how supportive the entire LGBTQIA+ community has been ever since her online drama: "I am being honest and maybe being a little disruptive to somebody's life, but it's what I believe in. And so to have good people stand behind you with it felt really nice.

"We have not [talked], and I don't think we ever will again," she said, adding that she has no problem with the actress' religious beliefs. In fact, Siwa encouraged Cameron Bure to be religious - but the problem lies in purposefully excluding people because of who they love.

"That's sh***y," the teen concluded.

The news comes just days after Cameron Bure broke her silence with a lengthy statement on Instagram.

"I would like to address my comments on Great American Family's programming as reported in The Wall Street Journal," the Christmas Under Wraps actress started.

"All of you who know me, know beyond question that I have great love and affection for all people. It absolutely breaks my heart that anyone would ever think I intentionally would want to offend and hurt anyone. It saddens me that the media is often seeking to divide us, even around a subject as comforting and merry as Christmas movies," she said.

"But, given the toxic climate in our culture right now, I shouldn't be surprised," Cameron Bure added.

She then went on to discuss how her Christian values have influenced her decisions, before directing her attention to the media which she described as "[fanning] the flames."

And although she never directly addressed the subject of featuring same-sex couples on-screen in GAF projects, she did write: "I had also expressed in my interview, which was not included, that people of all ethnicities and identities have and will continue to contribute to the network in great ways both in front of and behind the camera, which I encourage and fully support."

She then ended the post talking about God's "creativity", "love" and "passion", emphasizing that she aims to convey this in all aspects of her life including her upcoming work with GAF.

The 46-year-old said: "[God] will be reflected in everything I do and say; in my family, my work and my interactions with people from all walks of life, God's love and God's compassion is front and center.

"All of that comes from the LOVE that God himself showered upon humanity when he gave the gift of joy and forgiveness on the first Christmas morning 2000 years ago. It is why I love Christmas stories and sharing true joy and true peace with millions of people around the world.

"And in the sole motivation of pure love, I hope you'll join me in sharing God's hope for all the world this Christmas season."
