Julia Fox recently revealed that she spent her 27th birthday crying in bed because she felt "old."

Posting to TikTok, the Uncut Gems star explained how, because she was no longer in her mid-20s, she felt as though the occasion was nothing to celebrate.

"My B-F-F, Harmony, God rest her soul, came and flew in to see me because she knew I'd be taking it really hard," she told her 1.2 million TikTok followers.

"My friends tried to come in my room with candles and cupcakes and s*** and I literally was like, 'Get the f*** out! I told you we're not celebrating! There's nothing to celebrate!' And I was, like, such a tyrant about it because I wanted the day to pass and just have it be..."

She then went on to explain the reason behind her mindset, stating that the entertainment industry was not forgiving to women in their 30s.

"This is how deep this s*** is for women... In the entertainment industry. Thirty is f***ing considered old," she continued, before reminding her followers not to conform to society's standards for women because "aging is fully in."

The now 32-year-old star told women to "wear what they want" and not regret any of their decisions. Her passion for changing the narrative around maturing was reaffirmed when she went on to tell her followers that she was going to "sue" companies that claim their skincare products are "anti-aging."

"...If I see another product that says 'anti-aging' on the label, I'm suing," Fox added. "I'm going to sue because I'm going to age regardless of if I put that f***ing $500 serum on my face, and you all f***ing know it!

"And we know it so let's stop lying to ourselves. Getting old is f***ing hot, okay? It is sexy. It is probably the sexiest time in life, actually, because being pretty and hot in your 20s is the f***ing trenches, okay? And I'm not going back there," she added.

Julia Fox is known for her somewhat eccentric personality, but recently she's been keeping it real by opening up about the life experiences that have come to define her today.

During a recent episode of Emily Ratajkowski's podcast, High Low with EmRata, the 32-year-old described sex with men as "transactional" due to her previous career as a dominatrix.

"Sex for me always has been one-sided, but I think all women can say that. So it’s like if I don’t really need anything from you, I don’t see the point," Fox told the host. "I’m really desensitized to sex, too. Like, it just - it’s not thrilling for me."

Fox was only 18 years old when she began her career in the adult industry.

"I pretty much, in my teens, learned that I was a commodity and that I can get money or resources from men, so then it just became this game of, okay, how do I become more desirable so I could get more money and I could be like that b***h," she said on the podcast.

"It's still them giving me the power. It's not my own power, you know? So it's a humiliating kind of position to be in, or humbling, rather."
