Kanye West has responded to Jennifer Aniston's decision to urge her fans not to vote for him in the American Presidential Election.

The Friends star revealed that she had taken the opportunity to vote early and had given her support to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ahead of the November 3 election.

However, she added that it was "not funny" to vote for Kanye West, who is standing as an independent candidate.

"Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency," Aniston said. "P.S. It's not funny to vote for Kanye. I don't know how else to say it. Please be responsible."

West subsequently responded to Aniston's comments on Twitter by sharing a screenshot of a Vanity Fair article about them, Page Six reports.

"Wow that Rogan interview got em shook," he wrote, referencing his recent three-hour interview with podcaster Joe Rogan. "Let's gooooooooo."

The tweet in question has since been deleted.

West addressed his controversial appearance at a South Carolina political rally earlier this year on the podcast, during which he made personal revelations about his family.

While West has subsequently apologized to his wife, discussing the incident, West said on the podcast: "I'm Christian so I'm pro-life. When I go into office, I'm not changing laws because I realize we live in an imperfect world."

Despite polling at just two percent, per the Independent, West is continuing with his bid for the presidency in 2020.

West's bid for the top job was harmed by his failure to hand in documents that would have ensured his name appeared on the ballot in key states, the Independent reports.

Explaining why she voted for Biden Harris, Aniston wrote in the caption of her Instagram post: "I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever.

"Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can't do with their own bodies.

Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science... too many people have died."
