Kanye West shares video of himself holding ‘Vote Kanye’ hat over Kamala Harris’ head during debate
Kamala Harris and Mike Pence went head to head last night in a vice presidential debate ahead of the November 2020 election.
Now, following the Wednesday evening event, footage has emerged of Kanye West holding a 'Vote Kanye' hat over Kamala Harris' head.
Meanwhile, a fly landed on Mike Pence's head during the debate itself:

The rapper filmed the video during the October 7 event and subsequently posted it to Twitter to promote his own bid for the presidency by holding the promotional hat above Harris' head.
Kanye captioned the video: "They had to get the merch first https://kanye2020.country"

The hat is from Kanye's new line of merchandise which he has launched to support his bid to take up residence in the White House this November, the full range of which can be viewed here.

It's worth noting that while Kanye's name is only going to feature on the ballot in select states, namely Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, and Vermont, NME reports.
The tweet of the hat above Harris' head proved popular with Kanye's fans and at the time of writing has received over 77.1K likes and 12.6K comments.
One fan advised Kanye to lend his support to Trump: "Mr West [sic] your endorsement of Trump would be the most patriotic action you could take at this moment in time."

Meanwhile, another commenter photoshopped the 'Kanye 2020' hat onto a fly after one landed on Pence last night, writing: "Damn even the fly was rocking the merch [sic]."

Kanye's promotion of his own campaign comes after he said he was praying for President Trump and First Lady Melania after they tested positive for Covid-19.
"There's a crying need for civility across the board. We need to and will come together in the name of Jesus," he said, per NME, before adding that he would also pray "for Joe and Jill Biden if they were stricken, as well as everyone else with COVID-19."
