Kate Moss has opened up about her previous romance with Johnny Depp.
During an interview with British Vogue, the 48-year-old supermodel revealed the unorthodox way her ex-boyfriend gifted her a diamond necklace.
Rather than whipping the jewelry out of a nice box, it seems Depp opted for a more natural container for the present - his backside.
The model made the surprising revelation during a video published on Wednesday, in which she talked through some of her most iconic looks.
When it came to discussing a white gown she wore to the CFDA Fashion Awards in 1995, Moss pointed out the glittering diamond jewelry adorning her neck.
"That diamond necklace Johnny gave me," she explained, adding: "They were the first diamonds I owned. He pulled them out of the crack of his a**."
Thankfully, Moss elaborated on the story. "We were going out for dinner, and he said, 'I’ve got something in my bum. Can you have a look?' I was like, 'What?' I put my hand down his trousers and I pulled out a diamond necklace, that diamond necklace," the star said.
Moss and Depp dated for four years in the mid-1990s, from 1994 to 1998. She touched on their time together again in the interview with Vogue, after being shown a snap of herself at a Los Angeles Airport in 1995.
"This was when I had just met Johnny and I’d bought those boots in a second-hand shop," she said. "And that was going to LA from New York to go to see Johnny. That was like, I was on the go, life was happening."
Moss had also spoken publicly about her relationship with Depp in a far more formal capacity when, earlier this summer, she appeared at his defamation trial against Amber Heard.
In a short video testimony, Moss defended the Pirates of the Caribbean star against allegations that he had once pushed her down a flight of stairs.
"We were leaving the room, Johnny left before I did, and there had been a rain storm," she said.
"As I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back. I screamed, because I didn’t know what had happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me back to my room, and got me medical attention," she added.
