An exchange between Keanu Reeves and a young fan at an airport shared on social media has warmed people's hearts.
The 57-year-old Matrix star traveled from London to New York City and was seen arriving in the city by fans, including a young boy who decided to have an impromptu interview with the actor.
After meeting the fan, Reeves was then questioned by the youngster while waiting at the baggage claim - as well as signing autographs and posing for pictures.
TV producer Andrew Kimmel, who was on the same flight from London to NYC, watched the interaction in admiration and shared the wholesome moment on social media.
Kimmel wrote that the actor "happily responded" to every question from the eager fan and shared a photo of them both.
Check out the thread below:According to Kimmel, the child asked Reeves a series of questions including "Why was he in London?" to which Reeves replied that he was "filming a documentary."
The boy then asked whether the actor attended this weekend's British Grand Prix, and Reeves said yes and added "F1! Race cars!" Then he was asked by the kid if he drives cars himself, and the actor replied: "Not F1, but I like riding motorcycles."
The exchange continued as the young fan then asked Reeves if he lived in New York. When Reeves replied that his home is in Los Angeles, the boy pushed to find out why he had just touched down in the Big Apple.
"How long are you gonna be in New York?" said the boy. "Four days! No… five. Five days!" replied Reeves, before adding: "gonna see a broadway show," which he later revealed was David Mamet's American Buffalo.
The interaction didn’t end there though. When the fan started "running out of questions", the John Wick actor started jokingly "grilling him" by asking: "Why were you in Europe? What galleries did you go to in Paris? What was your favorite?"
Kimmel concluded the heartwarming moment by sharing his own selfie with the actor and writing in the caption that Reeves "could not have been nicer, especially after an international flight".
It seems like everyone agrees as the lovely exchange with the young fan has now gone viral and garnered 20.6K retweets and 308.7K likes on the social media platform.
Kimmel added: "I thought I’d share this because the dude is a class act and little moments like this can make such a big difference in people’s lives. We need more Keanus!"
We absolutely do.
